The music of BRITT DALEY, is a mixture of chill-wave, downtempo electronic elements blended with subtle R&B nuances and pop-vocal stylings.
Music was a major part of her childhood and singing came naturally, mastering "Ring Around The Rosie", long before she was
out of her onesies, so for her 5th birthday her grandmother presented her with an upright Baldwin piano.
It was not, however, until after she discoverd Tori Amos' Choir Girl Hotel and Böjrk's Homogenic, that she became inspired to begin her own journey into writing and ultimately producing.
She went on to study at the University of Miami, Frost School of Music, where she was exposed not only to the indie-college music scene but also to the surrounding tropical
bohemia's electronic and bass music scene.
Since 2011, she has supported the likes of Tegan & Sara, Shiny Toy Guns, Cherub, Kevin Barnes (Of Montreal), VHS Or Beta, Surfer Blood, YACHT, and
UK blue-eyed soul artist, DALEY.
Aside from her solo project, she has collaborated with Grammy nominated Producers Morgan Page and Bill Hamel, as well as up-and-coming producers, The Oddictions and Winston Wolfe.
She is currently working on her full-length album debut, co-written and conceptualized with Portland-based producer, Kinsey Dulcet, set to release in 2015.
